Researching Neotropical flora and fauna at Sierra Llorona continues to be of particular interest to scientists, leading to the recent discovery of a new species of amphibian, endemic to the area Atelopus limosus. We just finished extending our walking trails La Poza and El Colibri to four kilometers ( 2.5 miles ) trough the rain forest, improving steps and handrails with natural logs, including observation and resting stations with native "bohios" and "mirador", all of this plus a hammock to nap, will make your visit a very comfortable and a different experience.
