Galeta Point is a very good place for birdwatching. You will be able to see numerous waterbirds such as the American Pigmy King fisher, Black Tail Trogon among others. You will see fishes, starfish, sprocket wheels, sea turtles and more at The Marine Laboratory of the Smithsonian Institute. Continue birding at Gatun Lake and enjoy the view. At Gatun Town know how NorthAmericans lived during their occupancy in Panama and watch some of the biggest vessels in the world pass through the Panama Canal . |

Summit Gardens and Las Cruces Trail are both situated at the boundaries on one of Panama 's most beautiful rainforests and national parks. Summit is a tropical botanical garden with paved trails and a small zoo with animals, fowl and reptiles indigenous to Panama . A highlight here is the Harpy Eagle display where the magnificent bird can be seen. The Harpy Eagle is Panama 's national bird. |
